Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners in Clovis, NM seeks a Dietary Services leader to plan, direct, and supervise the dietary department, delivering nutritionally appropriate meals under federal, state, and local regulations.

You will oversee daily nutrition operations, manage budgets, coordinate with the Registered Dietitian and Administrator, train staff, supervise purchasing, and tailor menus to resident needs while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Trained as a CDM/CFPP or DTR, or equivalent training.
• Associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years’ food service supervisory experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the daily operations of nutrition service within the dietary department.
• Provide leadership to ensure food quality, safety standards, and resident needs are met.
• Provide nutrition care under supervision of a Registered Dietitian and Administrator.
• Plan purchases using forecasts, inventory, and equipment records; coordinate with purchasing and local producers.
• Participate in department budget planning and monitor expenditures.
• Communicate with dietitians, nursing, residents, and families about nutrition care.
• Maintain resident information in company electronic systems and care plans.
• Adjust care plans based on assessments and resident choices.
• Adapt menus to resident preferences and dietary restrictions.
