Job summary

Peaks Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide strategic leadership and oversight for our nursing staff, ensuring compassionate, high‑quality care for residents.

You will lead policy development, staff recruitment and development, and cross‑department collaboration while monitoring quality metrics and regulatory compliance.

This role requires a Master’s in Nursing (or related field), RN license, and at least two years in a senior nursing leadership position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior nursing leadership role.
• Current RN or advanced practice nursing license (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to the nursing department, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous quality improvement.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing nursing team with coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care through interdisciplinary meetings and education.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, identifying improvements and developing targeted interventions.
• Develop and manage department budgets to support high-quality care.
• Represent the organization on committees and industry organizations.
