Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department with a focus on regulatory compliance, policy execution, and high-quality resident care. The role requires strong organizational skills and a passion for staff development in a long-term care setting.

Ideal candidate will have RN licensure, 5+ years in long-term or acute care, and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, plus current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Detailed orientated and organized with strong knowledge of policies and governmental regulations.
• Experience in long-term care and/or acute care settings (min 5 years).
• Minimum of 2 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with Company policies and governmental regulations.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing services department and its programs.
• Coordinate development and approval of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care with physicians and staff.
• Ensure accurate completion of forms and reports for admission, transfer, discharge, including MDS and Care Plans.
