Job summary

US Foods in Manassas, VA is seeking a sales-focused professional to source and develop profitable new business that can be transitioned to a Territory Manager. The role targets accounts with potential > $0.5M annually and aims for $2M first year and $6M in following years, using KPIs to drive opening, revenue, and gross profit.

You will need at least 3 years of sales experience, strong negotiation and presentation skills, travel as needed, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Experience opening accounts > $0.5m preferred in foodservice.
• Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills to warm, convert and close accounts.
• Willingness to travel overnight for trainings or events.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and developing profitable new business for transition to Territory Manager.
• Target highest potential leads and convert to customers to meet annual sales plans.
• Develop market share with a sound business plan and footprint focus.
• Work with specialists to create order-guide/pricing for accounts.
• Maintain pipeline of high-potential new business and manage onboarding.
