Job summary

Google's Strategic Negotiation team works to secure infrastructure for Google's future, from data centers to underwater cables. As a Strategic Negotiator on the Economic Development team, you will combine market knowledge with policy to negotiate cost-effective solutions that scale Google’s global infrastructure.

You will lead complex negotiations, manage vendor relationships, and mentor peers while optimizing portfolio Total Cost of Ownership and ensuring compliance across multi-decade

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Real Estate, Law or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in site selection, economic development, corporate real estate, tax incentive structuring, or commercial contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and pursue site expansion projects and infrastructure procurement.
• Serve as commercial liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders; influence strategy at executive level.
• Lead confidential projects, develop overall project plans, and manage multi-year agreements.
• Develop and negotiate agreements with vendors, landowners, and key suppliers for space and utilities.
• Develop metrics for portfolio management related to site/infrastructure development.
