Job summary

Google’s Strategic Negotiation team seeks a senior strategist to drive economic development and tax-incentive strategies for scalable data centers worldwide. You will structure statutory agreements, cultivate partnerships, and guide multi-decade deals through cross-functional teams under executive oversight.

You will engage with government officials and regulators to optimize portfolio TCO while mitigating risks, shaping policy design, and mentoring peers across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Real Estate, Law, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in site selection, economic development, corporate real estate, tax incentives, or contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and close economic development agreements for hyper-scale data centers or mega-projects.
• Present to and negotiate with elected officials, authorities, and regulatory bodies in engaged markets.
• Drive cross-functional consensus among executives and translate business requirements into binding terms.
• Willing to travel up to 25% for high-level negotiations, public hearings, and site engagements.
• Oversee due diligence, engage government officials, and structure multi-decade agreements.
