Job summary

Google’s Strategic Negotiator team drives the economic development and tax-incentive strategy to scale Google’s global data center footprint. You will lead high-visibility negotiations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and structure multi-decade agreements with vendors and public entities.

The role focuses on statutory due diligence, public-private partnerships, and optimizing total cost of ownership while mitigating risk and driving strategic outcomes for Google's infrastructure growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Real Estate, Law, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in site selection, economic development, corporate real estate, tax incentive structuring, or commercial contract negotiation within a corporate or consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and pursue site expansion projects and infrastructure procurement.
• Serve as a commercial liaison; develop regional/market strategy; influence executive-level decisions.
• Lead development of multi-party agreements with vendors, landowners, and key suppliers for space and utilities.
• Develop metrics for portfolio management related to site/infrastructure development.
• Mentor fellow negotiators and manage high-visibility negotiations with government officials and stakeholders.
