Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Program Manager to develop and execute nationwide builds, retrofits, and facilities initiatives, coordinating across design, construction, and operations teams to deliver safe, on-time projects.

This role requires extensive travel (>60%), flexibility to relocate near the office, and the ability to influence stakeholders with rigorous plans, risk management, and clear executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design through construction and handover.
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage program scope for new construction, renovations, and capacity improvements of fulfillment facilities in North America.
• Align program goals, roles, authorities, risk management, and reporting with planning + leadership.
• Provide centralized processes, reports, and escalation to reduce burden on site PMs.
• Lead negotiations with regulatory bodies and AHJ as needed.
• Review design standards for value engineering and cost-effective changes.
