Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Program Manager to lead nationwide programs for new builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will align goals across project managers, review budgets and schedules, and deliver executive reports to senior managers and Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proficiency with AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
• 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a related construction discipline
• 5+ years of project management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover
• 5+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts

Responsibilities

• Oversee program management of new construction, renovations, and capacity improvements for Amazon facilities in North America.
• Align on program goals, execution strategy, risk management, and reporting tools with planning teams and leadership.
• Support execution teams with centralized processes, reports, escalation management, and issue resolution.
• Work independently in ambiguous programs with minimal direction from leadership.
• Identify regional programmatic efficiencies with Global Procurement.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
• Procure and manage supplemental programmatic resources when needed.
• Resolve design clashes and schedule conflicts with other teams.
• Review changes for validity and cost impact with Engineering Change Management.
• Lead negotiations with regulatory bodies as required.
