Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Program Manager to oversee nationwide programs for new builds, retrofits, and expansions. This role aligns design with construction, manages budgets, and reports to senior leadership. Travel >60% and relocation support may be provided.

The candidate should have 5+ years in PM, construction, and related fields with expertise in AutoCAD/BIM and scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years with AutoCAD and/or BIM and scheduling software (Primavera/MS Project).
• 5+ years as Architect/Engineer/Construction Manager or related field.
• 5+ years of PM experience from design to handover.
• 5+ years negotiating construction, procurement, or labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs for new construction, renovations, and capacity improvements of facilities in North America.
• Align goals and authorities with planning teams and leadership; establish risk management and reporting tools.
• Support execution teams with centralized processes, reports, and escalation to reduce burden on site PMs.
• Lead design reviews for value engineering and timely program changes.
• Negotiate with regulatory bodies as required and ensure cost‑sensitive decisions.
