Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a strategic Sales Manager - Battery & Integrators to lead national sales engagement with battery manufacturers and system integrators across North America.

The successful candidate will own revenue growth by developing commercial and technical relationships, crafting framework agreements, and coordinating with global teams to position Hitachi Energy PCS solutions in utility-scale energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in sales/BD in energy storage or related industry.
• Experience selling to battery manufacturers, integrators, utilities.
• Knowledge of utility-scale BESS, PCS/inverter tech, grid interconnect.
• Experience creating commercial agreements and account plans.
• Ability to communicate with engineering, procurement, executives.
• Ability to lead cross-functional sales without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own NA sales strategy and account plans for priority manufacturers and integrators.
• Build relationships across executive, commercial, technical, procurement, project-development, and operational functions.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close PCS opportunities.
• Maintain account-level pipeline visibility, forecasts, and sales action plans.
• Coordinate with Legal, Tendering, Procurement, Product Management, Operations, and regional Sales to move opportunities from qualification through order intake.
• Develop commercial strategies that improve Hitachi Energy's position within battery and integrator channels.
• Share opportunity status and market trends with global stakeholders.
