Job summary

RS Integrated Supply is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage MRO purchasing transactions within RS systems and client CMMS. You will drive strategic sourcing, maintain supplier relations, and ensure timely order processing and delivery to meet client commitments.

Responsibilities include cost savings through supplier renegotiations, managing non-stock and stock POs, and training fellow staff while upholding safety standards. Strong knowledge of MRO materials and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of MRO Purchasing experience
• High school diploma required; 2 years of college is required
• Solid knowledge of MRO materials
• Proficiency in RS Integrated Supply and/or client CMMS/Inventory Management systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and executing strategic sourcing initiatives
• CPM/APICS desirable

Responsibilities

• Follow all site safety and security procedures; attend required trainings.
• Source new suppliers, renegotiate terms, and/or negotiate stock item guarantees to cost savings.
• Exceed guaranteed savings by optimizing pricing and utilization of savings reports.
• Identify OEM commercialization and substitution opportunities to lower costs.
• Manage OEM opportunities with customers including approvals and change controls.
• Maintain vendor database and use preferred suppliers as required.
• Generate POs using RS Integrated Supply or client CMMS purchasing system.
• Expedite orders and monitor open orders; communicate delays to supervisor and client.
• Maintain open communication with client personnel across management levels.
• Deliver on customer contractual commitments.
