Job summary

RS Integrated Supply is seeking a Site Operations Manager in New Bedford, MA to oversee daily MRO storeroom operations, procurements, and strategic sourcing in our on-site facilities. You will lead storeroom staff, manage purchases in RS or client CMMS systems, and drive cost savings while ensuring on-time, in-full delivery and compliance with contractual terms.

The role emphasizes supplier negotiations, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with corporate and client teams

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing and managing MRO commodities.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising, managing, overseeing, and coaching staff.
• CPM/APICS desirable.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Procurement or CMMS and/or EAM Software.
• Experience in supply chain management / sourcing.
• Experience and familiarity with inventory control, receiving, and shipping processes.
• Experience in budgeting and/or overseeing a P&L.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure safety rules are observed and followed by employees.
• Oversee on-site supervision of MRO and storeroom management operations.
• Supervise daily activities of direct reports and schedule time off.
• Negotiate stock guarantees and manage supplier relationships.
• Understand client contract requirements and ensure compliance by staff.
• Manage purchasing in a cost-effective manner and maintain data integrity in systems.
• Interact with senior management to implement strategic plans.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; provide coaching and support.
• Monitor storeroom inventory and implement reduction programs.
• Generate and analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports and take corrective actions.
