Job summary

Apache Corporation in Houston seeks a Senior Manager to develop and execute commercial strategies for crude oil, natural gas, and NGLs, ensuring reliable access to markets and cost-effective operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing or other Business field required; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years' experience in gas midstream and marketing, preferably in the Permian Basin.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of midstream agreements, including crude oil gathering and transportation, natural gas gathering and processing, NGL sales, storage, and terminaling.
• Lead negotiations for new agreements and amendments with pipelines, processors, marketers, and other midstream service providers to secure terms.
• Align midstream capacity and commitments with production forecasts and development plans.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve netbacks, reduce costs, and create option value through arrangements and investments.
• Oversee contract performance and compliance with volume commitments, well connections, forecasting, rate escalations, service levels, and deadlines.
• Partner with Operations and Production teams to resolve flow, capacity, measurement, quality, and balancing issues.
• Prepare economic analyses and recommendations for infrastructure projects and capital or commercial decisions.
• Manage relationships with midstream counterparties and represent the company in discussions and industry meetings.
• Coordinate with Legal and stakeholders to structure agreements protecting Apache’s interests.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting related to midstream costs and revenues.
• Maintain records of contracts, obligations, key dates, terms, and approved deal terms.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members with clear priorities and accountability for results.
