Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Commercial Manager in its Midstream Business Development team based in Spring, Texas. You will identify and develop commercial opportunities, negotiate complex contracts, and manage a portfolio of relationships across crude, gas, NGLs, and logistics.

Responsibilities include leading commercial strategies, evaluating market trends, and coordinating with operations, finance, planning, and legal to accelerate growth across a diverse asset footprint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of midstream commercial, business development, marketing, trading, or related experience in oil & gas or petrochemicals.
• Applicants must have excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver results in a performance-driven and team-oriented environment.
• Strong business, financial, and economic analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities that leverage ExxonMobil’s portfolio volumes and midstream assets.
• Develop midstream commercial strategies and identify market access and value-maximization opportunities.
• Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer requirements to inform commercial decisions.
• Monitor industry activity and provide insights on opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate across ExxonMobil's value chain to identify opportunities that enhance portfolio value.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements.
• Lead negotiations to create value across gathering, processing, transportation, storage, and logistics.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial relationships and agreements.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and market participants.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute business objectives.
