Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is hiring an Executive Meeting Manager for Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, Texas. You will lead catering and event sales, coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, F&B, and hotel operations to flawlessly execute meetings and group programs.

Build strong client relationships, develop new accounts, and optimize banquet space utilization while driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to four years of experience in hotel catering sales, conference services, event management, or related roles.
• Experience detailing group business and managing meeting logistics preferred.
• Experience with private dining sales and restaurant events preferred.
• Knowledge of Delphi, Opera, and sales platforms (Cvent, Engine) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and book local catering and event business; build client relationships.
• Develop new accounts and maximize revenue from catering and banquet space.
• Respond to leads promptly and manage follow-up timelines.
• Coordinate planning with Banquets, Culinary, F&B, Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping and other teams.
• Prepare contracts, banquet event orders, and maintain client files.
• Monitor event execution and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
