Job summary

CIS International LLC is seeking a Purchasing Agent to execute procurement activities supporting uninterrupted manufacturing in a highly regulated medical device environment. The role oversees direct and indirect material purchases, supplier performance, and inventory targets while ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, and the company QMS.

The candidate will liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure material availability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or related discipline.
• Minimum three years purchasing/procurement in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP system.
• Experience with international suppliers and global supply chains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing for raw materials, components, packaging, consumables and services.
• Generate, review, and release purchase orders per procedures.
• Monitor PO status and expedite critical materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers for confirmations, schedules, and on-time deliveries.
• Manage full purchasing cycle from requisition to receipt.
• Support sourcing initiatives and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Analyze requirements based on planning signals, inventory levels, forecasts, and schedules.
• Maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues impacting continuity.
• Support supplier evaluations and corrective actions.
