Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a mid-level Buyer/Planner for a 5-month contract in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on procuring goods, managing supplier relations, and ensuring JIT delivery to support production lines.

You will negotiate with suppliers, review requisitions, and work with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and PPV. A strong background in MRP/SAP and Excel is required, with process improvements encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and procure goods and services to ensure production continuity.
• Solicit quotes, issue annual contracts based on forecasts, review requisitions and release POs.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure Just-In-Time delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers to minimize PPV and collaborate with Sourcing for large variances.
• Lead continuous improvement events to enhance purchasing productivity.
