Cordis, LLC is seeking a Buyer II to manage procurement of components, materials, and services for medical device manufacturing. The role ensures supply continuity, quality, and regulatory compliance while collaborating across Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance.

The Buyer II will optimize supplier performance, negotiate terms, and support cost-reduction initiatives within FDA and ISO 13485 frameworks.

Formación

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant procurement experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced degree with no work experience acceptable in some cases; degree in industry preferred.
• Experience supporting FDA requirements and ISO 13485 aligned processes is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review requisitions and issue purchase orders for production materials and services.
• Analyze MRP, forecasts, inventory, and lead times to set purchasing priorities.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery, specs, and pricing changes.
• Expedite orders to prevent shortages and disruptions in manufacturing.
• Maintain supplier performance metrics and collaborate across functions.
