Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company subsidiary, seeks a Procurement professional to support project delivery through competitive bidding, BAFOs, and procurement documentation. You will develop scopes of work, solicit bids, evaluate proposals, draft ROA documentation, and coordinate with SB Preconstruction teams to align with project needs.

Travel is limited; office and field coordination with SB and Preconstruction teams will be common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field of study, with minimum of 4 years of related progressive experience in construction procurement, sourcing, supplier experience or related project delivery roles, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Broad knowledge of construction and supply chain operations
• Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and construction accounting procedures
• Ability to interpret, contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project and procurement schedules
• Experience analyzing supplier proposals, including pricing, scope alignment, qualifications, and documenting procurement recommendations and coordination with project/precon teams
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, sound judgment with attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient skills in project forecasting, budget management, cost, and accounting policies and procedures
• Possess solid problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Able to work with minimum information and quickly develop understanding of impacts to procurement forecasts
• Project engineering skills to manage competing demands and meet established deadlines
• Familiar with basic lean concepts, and continuous improvement methods and tools
• Professional presentation delivery and written communication skills, able to anticipate needs of audience, and tailor communications appropriately
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications with intermediate Excel skills, familiar with SharePoint, and collaborative tools

Responsibilities

• Lead SB competitive bid procurement, bid evaluations, and BAFOs
• Develop RFQ/RFPs, bid management, and award recommendations
• Establish bidding procedures and prepare bid documentation
• Develop scopes of work for procurement packages
• Analyze supplier proposals and manage BAFOs
• Draft ROA documentation for SB review
• Submit PO requests per ROAs following procedures
• Participate in project team meetings to support procurement execution
• Escalate complex issues to Procurement supervisor
• Support continuous improvement of SB procurement processes
• Other duties as assigned
