Job summary

SourceBlue, a Turner Construction Company subsidiary, is looking for a procurement professional to support project delivery through competitive bid processes, bid evaluations, and BAFOs. You will develop scopes of work, analyze supplier proposals, and prepare ROA documentation for review by SB leaders.

You will manage PO requests after approved ROAs and participate in project team meetings to ensure procurement execution aligns with schedules and budgets. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field with minimum of 4 years of related progressive experience in construction procurement or sourcing
• Broad knowledge of construction and supply chain operations
• Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and construction accounting procedures
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project and procurement schedules
• Experience analyzing supplier proposals, including pricing, scope alignment, qualifications, and documenting procurement recommendations and coordination with project/precon teams
• Familiar with Lean concepts and continuous improvement methods and tools
• Proficient in project forecasting, budget management, cost and accounting policies and procedures
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform SourceBlue competitive bid procurement process and BAFOs for assigned projects
• Develop, refine, and finalize scopes of work for procurement packages
• Receive, analyze, and tabulate supplier proposals; manage bid clarifications and BAFOs
• Draft ROA documentation with assumptions, qualifications, exclusions, and approved alternates
• Submit PO requests following ROAs according to procedures
• Participate in project team meetings to support procurement execution and schedule alignment
• Escalate complex issues to Procurement supervisor
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in SB Procurement processes
