Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Georgia. The role focuses on leading pre-construction and full construction scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor negotiations to ensure profitable project delivery.

You will coordinate with engineers and architects, manage RFI/change orders, and oversee procurement and safety programs. Strong leadership and a track record of delivering up to $15M projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of experience in the construction field leading projects up to $15M in scope.
• Experience with cost control and budgeting.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pre-construction, preplanning, and construction project scheduling.
• Review and approve budgets (labor, material, subs) and allocate resources.
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors.
• Oversee project finances including profitability and cash flow.
• Ensure profitability targets and cost-to-complete alignment with bids.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve design conflicts.
• Lead submittals, RFI, and change order processes.
• Implement monthly cost reports and accurate projections.
• Research construction means, methods, and timelines.
• Approve supplier and subcontractor invoices for payment.
• Maintain health and safety standards and site discipline.
• Lead procurement and scheduling of equipment and materials.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
