Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball, headquartered in Conyers, Georgia, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead large construction projects and multi-project oversight.

The role requires strong leadership, client/vendor coordination, and expertise in cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor management. You will supervise pre-construction activities, interface with engineers and architects, and drive project success while maintaining safety and quality standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years leading large multi-million-dollar complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and consult with field project managers, GCs and owners; nurture relationships for project success.
• Manage pre-construction, preplanning, and scheduling; leverage relationships with GCs.
• Direct subcontractor management to meet timelines and budgets.
• Take ownership and accountability for projects under direction.
• Solve complex schedule and budget issues as part of the project team.
• Review and approve budgets for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Negotiate and create subcontractor contracts with external vendors.
• Manage project finances including profitability and cash flow.
• Provide leadership to construction crews and coordinate trades with engineers and architects.
• Lead submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost reporting; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Identify and manage CAD, fabrication and field labor resources; ensure site cleanliness and safety.
