Job summary

Talentify in the United States (Michigan) is seeking a Materials Planner to manage capacity planning, detailed scheduling, and material control for manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate with production, engineering, and customer service to ensure on-time delivery and optimal utilization of resources. Strong MS Office and MRP experience are required, with a focus on Lean process improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Experience in production scheduling and manufacturing or related field.
• Regulatory compliance experience (EAR/ITAR) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan capacity, schedule work, and manage material requisitions.
• Schedule operations across machines, considering raw materials and shipping.
• Align master schedule with sales/production forecasts and monitor lines.
• Balance capacity with production needs and adjust for disruptions.
• Oversee detailed shop floor control to maintain adherence.
• Collaborate with Engineering for new parts introductions.
• Coordinate changes with customer service and production teams.
• Support capacity improvements with estimating to meet demand.
• Identify process problems and propose solutions to management.
