The role emphasizes data-driven planning, use of Plex ERP, and collaboration across departments to optimize inventory and capacity. 1st shift, on-site operations with possible travel and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related role.
• Experience with Plex Systems ERP strongly preferred.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand planning and manage suppliers to achieve on-time delivery.
• Work cross-functionally with Challenge departments to meet production schedules.
• Plan material receipts to meet forecasted and actual sales while minimizing inventory.
• Utilize MRP to calculate raw material quantities based on production schedules.
• Collaborate with suppliers to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
• Monitor inventory levels against target levels and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports and forecasts.
• Identify capacity/material issues and propose corrective actions.
• Support plant flow with flexible resource planning and load optimization.
• Travel up to 10% for customer or supplier sites as needed.
