Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Material Project Manager to lead the material strategy for the program, managing open purchase orders, resolving delays, and driving supplier accountability on site. You will act as the primary interface with key suppliers and escalate delivery risks to ensure contractual compliance.

Responsibilities include program metric compilation, project planning and evaluation, PMO coordination, and risk management to support program success in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 12–15 years (or MS with 10–13 years) in material project management, procurement, or supply chain in defense/aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain systems and material procurement.
• Analytical and creative problem‑solving to guide complex supply chain decisions.
• Expert understanding of industry standards and ability to develop new processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of material strategy by managing POs, resolving delays, and ensuring supplier accountability.
• Interface between Leidos and suppliers; escalate delivery risks and ensure contractual compliance.
• Provide program metrics data and support project planning and evaluation.
• Participate in Program Management Reviews and subcontractor meetings.
