Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to lead the supply chain for capital programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met. You will drive Design to Cost (DTC) initiatives and coordinate with IPTs to align material strategies with program affordability goals.

Responsibilities include leading capital SCM activities, developing SOWs, tracking budgets, and performing risk mitigation while partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Operations.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.
• Minimum 8 years in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or Project Management.
• Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital supply chain activities and advise SCM leadership.
• Develop clear Statements of Work for equipment or manufacturing systems.
• Track capital budgets and material forecasting.
• Organize and track KPMs, SDRL/CDRL, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate design reviews with internal teams and suppliers.
• Assist supplier selection and technical evaluations during sourcing events.
• Develop risk mitigation plans to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations and Finance.
• Travel up to 20% of time.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve processes.
