Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a lead for capital supply chain activities, advising the Supply Chain Management team and the Capital Program Management Office on material strategies and plans. This onsite role requires coordinating with engineering, quality, operations and finance.

Domestic travel up to 20% is required; the role emphasizes Lean and Six Sigma to improve processes, manage budgets, and ensure timely design reviews and supplier selections.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or related work experience.
• Experience working with technical requirements and Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital supply chain activities and advise leadership on material strategies.
• Develop clear Statements of Work (SOWs) with milestones to incentivize targets.
• Track budgets and material forecasting for capital initiatives.
• Organize deliverables, milestones, and data requirements across projects.
• Coordinate design reviews with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support supplier selection and technical assessments during sourcing events.
