Job summary

RTX, a global aerospace and defense company, seeks a self-starter for the Material Program Manager role in its Land & Air Defense System 24/7 operations team. This hybrid position is based in Andover, MA, requiring collaboration with program managers, IPTs, and supply-chain leads.

Responsibilities include translating requirements to suppliers, proactive R&O planning, and managing material demands and deliveries, with MPM certification target within 12 months.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with SAP or PRISM systems.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
• Strong project-management, risk, and supplier management skills.
• Ability to work in an IPT environment and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer and product requirements to suppliers.
• Engage suppliers focusing on capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
• Monitor supply-chain performance and manage kit availability and on-time delivery.
• Support IPT reviews and visibility of procurement plans.
• Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity and sales plans to meet AOP.
• Manage materials, procurements, receipts, and delivery to customers.
• Progress toward MPM certification within 12 months.
