Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel/data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily material planning operations, ensuring alignment between material availability, production schedules, and customer demand.
• Lead and support material planners through training, performance management, and workflow coordination.
• Monitor inventory levels and planning activities to minimize shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete materials.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and production teams to ensure efficient material flow and operational continuity.
• Analyze material demand, supplier lead times, and inventory trends to support planning decisions and risk mitigation.
• Oversee resolution of material shortages, schedule disruptions, and supply-related issues impacting operations.
• Maintain accurate planning data within ERP and material planning systems.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to inventory performance, material availability, and planning accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning efficiency, inventory optimization, and process standardization.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory policies, and operational standards.
• Communicate planning risks, constraints, and operational updates to management and stakeholders.
