Slate is seeking a Material Planner in Warsaw, Indiana to manage material availability across production, ensuring timely deliveries of raw materials and packaging. You will develop material plans, coordinate with suppliers, and support new product launches and changes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

The role emphasizes data analysis using Excel, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in material or production planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with lean, Six Sigma or CI methodologies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute material requirements plans from forecasts, orders, and inventory targets.
• Ensure materials, components, and packaging are available to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm deliveries, expedite urgent orders, and address issues.
• Support production readiness for launches and engineering changes; manage transitions and obsolescence.
