Job summary

Slate seeks an energetic Manager, Production Planning & Scheduling in Warsaw, IN, to lead the material planning team and ensure uninterrupted production materials flow. You’ll optimize inventory, manage supplier relationships, and work cross-functionally with SI&OP and 3PL partners to meet demand.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in supply chain with 3+ years of management, strong ERP/MRP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and data tools. Rural manufacturing familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management
• 3+ years of people management experience in a related role
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and inventory control practices
• Ability to lead in a start-up environment and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Material / Inventory Analysts to ensure service parts availability
• Drive continuous improvement in Material Planning and Inventory Management to reduce inventory levels while maintaining fulfillment
• Collaborate with SI&OP to align parts portfolio with demand and supply
• Place and track purchase orders through ERP systems and optimize lead times with suppliers
• Own supplier relationships and drive parts level strategies for efficient inventory control
