Job summary

The role requires leading monthly S&OP processes, coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Engineering and Quality to ensure on-time delivery, and updating ERP/Operations Plans. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in operations/supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Advanced Excel analytics experience; comfortable with macros and pivots.
• ERP/MRP systems experience.
• Report writer experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
• APICS certification in CPIM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/maintain Master Production Schedules, delays to schedule, identify countermeasures and root causes for misses.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering to review build plans, backorder status, and schedule interruptions.
• Establish and lead monthly S&OP planning process and policies around Service Level Strategies with the business for commercial/financial alignment.
• Support ERP and Operations Plan updates to drive customer-order-based revenue plans.
• Develop schedules on open proposals; create load profiles for new programs and review lead times and critical paths prior to scheduling.
• Develop data monitoring via exception reporting to validate BOMs, engineering masters, part numbers, and lead times.
• Provide leadership on production scheduling conflicts and resource planning.
• Lead teams on continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based tools to manage manufacturing tracker and key metrics.
