Job summary

Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company in Hollister, CA seeks a Sr. Production Planner to drive supply and demand planning, work order management, and schedule adherence across manufacturing cells.

You will validate data, analyze capacity, and support KPI-driven revenue growth. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering to review schedules, generate reports, and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• Advanced Excel experience required.
• ERP/MRP systems experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning in cross-functional meetings on supply availability and delivery commits.
• Use MRP to generate work orders and ensure timely release to manufacturing.
• Monitor and maintain Master Production Schedules for assigned cells and analyze misses.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering on schedule execution and backorders.
• Provide exception-based reporting on supply variances in daily stand-up reviews.
• Support S&OP processes with demand forecast analysis and tracking deliverables.
• Support cost-reduction strategies via re-allocation of existing inventory.
• Lead continuous improvement project teams and monitor progress across departments.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based tools to manage key metrics and variances.
