Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking a Market Development Manager to advise clients and position Adecco as a trusted workforce solutions partner in the staffing industry. You will drive brand awareness across industry sectors and identify new sales opportunities through deep market knowledge.

In this role, you will cultivate existing accounts, manage a robust Top 100 opportunity pipeline, and collaborate with centralized teams to deliver full-service solutions while achieving revenue and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline is required.
• Minimum of two years outside sales experience with success in exceeding goals and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Brand Ambassador and participate in thought leadership activities to build Adecco’s reputation as a leading workforce solutions partner.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide full-service solutions to clients.
• Identify and close new sales opportunities through knowledge of market geography, economy, top companies, and competitors in the temporary staffing space.
• Establish plans to grow and retain existing accounts and newly acquired clients.
• Maintain a pipeline of Top 100 opportunities and perform daily sales activities (cold calls, visits, proposals, pricing, contracts).
• Build trust and credibility with clients, prospects, candidates, and colleagues by communicating Adecco's value proposition.
• Create an excellent customer experience as measured by NPS scores.
• Set and monitor business objectives and financial goals for the market, including branch revenue and expense forecasts.
• Develop short- and long-range growth plans.
• Set pay and bill rates by skill category; obtain credit references and manage collections.
• Tour client facilities regularly to understand business and personnel requirements.
• Collaborate with centralized teams including central recruitment, sales, and operations.
