Job summary

Utz is seeking a Market Development Leader II in Chicago, IL to collaborate with Independent Operators and Master Distributors, driving sales growth and market share through strategic planning and field leadership.

In this role you will prepare reports, coordinate with the Sales Operations Director, visit stores, and champion promotional activities while upholding Utz standards and customer relationships to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in snacks, grocery, or beverage industry. DSD experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the Company’s sales, service, and merchandising strategies to IOs and distributors to ensure proactive relations and market share growth.
• Prepare weekly volume and inventory reports and KPI scorecards.
• Provide a weekly Sales/IO Work-with planner to SOD.
• Spend time on the DC loading docks with IOs to hear concerns.
• Support IOs and distributors by promoting store-level planograms and successful new product introductions.
