Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. is seeking a Market Development Leader II to partner with Independent Operators and Master Distributors in Chicago, IL.

You will drive market share through proactive communication, reporting, and field visits while coordinating with the Sales Operations Director. Requirements include 5+ years in sales operations, strong IO/distributor knowledge, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in snacks, grocery, or beverage industry; DSD experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Independent Distribution models and IO/Distributor agreements; ability to manage relationships with IOs and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Communicate sales, service, and merchandising strategies to IOs and distributors.
• Prepare weekly volume and inventory reports and KPI scorecards.
• Provide a weekly Sales/IO Work-with planner to SOD.
• Conduct store visits to maintain relationships with store managers and decision makers.
• Assist in planning workshops to maximize IOs and distributors' sales potential and tool usage.
• Reinforce Utz support for IOs and distributors and educate stakeholders.
