Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sykesville, Maryland is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Analyst/Principal Manufacturing Analyst to plan, schedule, and coordinate production and material flow for multiple cells supporting internal and external customers. The role requires strong manufacturing planning skills, MS Office proficiency, and experience with project management or production planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Demonstrated experience in project management and/or production planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, issue, and control production schedules and coordinate material requirements to meet production needs.
• Advise management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production issues.
• Schedule equipment and personnel; prepare work orders or purchase requests based on master production schedule and inventory.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with QA, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, and other stakeholders.
• Expedite work on the production floor and track WIP through all stages to meet schedule commitments.
