Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Northridge, CA is seeking a Principal Production Planning and Scheduler to join our on-site team. The role focuses on developing production plans, coordinating schedules, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma with 10+ years, or a Bachelor's with 6+ years, or a Master's with 4+ years, plus knowledge of ISO9001 and ESD-safe procedures. Travel up to 10% is required; relocation assistance is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 quality standards and ESD-safe procedures.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds a few times per shift.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support production activity and ensure business objectives are met.
• Control production plans, identify risks, report to management, and manage shipments.
• Develop schedules showing workflow through departments and monitor execution.
• Coordinate flow of work and materials within or between departments.
• Plan and manage production tasks with management and adjust schedules for timely delivery.
• Review job orders to establish priorities and schedules.
