Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Coordinator to analyze production loads, coordinate scheduling, and ensure timely delivery of manufactured components. The role requires developing feasible plans, evaluating capacity, and guiding teams across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with college courses in production control, scheduling or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of Production Control experience in a large manufacturing environment or related areas.
• Experience using SAP or similar MRP/ERP/MES system.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production schedules and material status to identify conflicts and take action.
• Evaluate load and schedules; suggest alternatives or subcontracting to meet deadlines.
• Determine current and future load capacities affecting lead times for scheduling.
• Coordinate lower level production personnel in assigned duties.
• Pre-plan requirements and materials to achieve on-time delivery; propose improvements.
• Operate stacker, forklift, and hand truck for material movement between ops.
• Perform work of equal or lower level as required.
