Job summary

Mattr is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Cost Analyst to lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis across manufacturing operations in the United States. You will collaborate with production, finance, and supply chain teams to drive cost efficiency and improve profit margins.

The role emphasizes standard costing, work-in-process, and finished goods accounting, with cross-functional exposure to improve processes and support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in cost accounting or financial analysis in manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory management, COGS, and cost control.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and IFRS/GAAP basics.
• Proven ability to analyze cost drivers and propose efficiency gains.
• Experience with warranty cost and freight cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory valuation, costing methods, and variance analysis.
• Analyze COGS, monitor variances, and drive corrective actions.
• Perform detailed manufacturing cost analysis and reporting.
• Prepare cost estimates for new products and changes.
• Manage warranty expenses and analyze trends with QA/service teams.
• Analyze freight costs and optimize distribution networks.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial insights.
