Job summary

Mattr is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Cost Analyst to lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis for manufacturing operations. You will partner with production, finance, and supply chain to drive cost visibility and profit optimization.

Responsibilities include developing costing methods (standard cost, WIP, finished goods), monitoring inventory health, and reporting to management. Strong ERP/Excel skills and manufacturing cost experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal education in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA/CMA or similar certification considered a plus.
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory, and COGS in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory valuation, costing methods, and standard costing.
• Analyze COGS, variances, and cost drivers to improve margins.
• Collaborate with production to track direct materials, labor, and overhead.
• Develop cost reports and support budgeting/forecasting for manufacturing.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and cross‑functional process improvements.
• Monitor freight, warranty costs, and obsolescence to manage total cost.
