Job summary

Mattr is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Cost Analyst for a remote role in the United States. You will partner with production, finance and supply chain to optimize costs across inventory, COGS, warranty, and freight while delivering robust cost reporting and strategic insights.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in manufacturing cost accounting, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a track record of process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years cost accounting in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory management and COGS.
• Knowledge of warranty cost management and freight cost analysis.
• Bachelor-level degree in accounting/finance; CPA/CMA asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory valuation and reporting.
• Analyze COGS, variances, and cost drivers.
• Monitor cost components: direct labor, materials, overhead.
• Prepare cost estimates for new products and capital investments.
• Lead cross-functional cost control initiatives.
