Job summary

Mattr is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Cost Analyst to lead cost analysis across manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation, COGS management, warranty cost oversight, and freight cost optimization. This role collaborates with production, finance, and supply chain teams to provide actionable financial insights and drive cost-saving initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or professional certification in accounting/finance is expected.
• Experience with cost accounting in manufacturing is required.
• Experience with inventory management, COGS, warranty and freight cost analysis is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory valuation, reporting and costing methods including standard costing and WIP/finished goods.
• Analyze COGS, variances and cost drivers to improve margins.
• Manage warranty cost tracking and related analyses.
• Control freight/logistics costs and optimize distribution networks.
