nVent is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Solon, OH to develop maintenance plans and schedules for facilities and production assets. You will manage preventive maintenance, handle backlog clearance, and keep spare parts inventory, working closely with the Maintenance Manager to optimize plant uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical trade school certification.
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• CMMS knowledge required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Forklift operator experience required.
• Heavy lifting required within regulations.
• Able to work overtime with short notice.
• Good communication with team leads and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Manage and assign routine and preventative maintenance on facilities and plant production equipment.
• Prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules aligned with maintenance and production goals.
• Coordinate plant projects with the Maintenance Manager.
• Lead communication between maintenance and other internal departments to ensure timely, efficient, and quality service.
• Act as the primary liaison between maintenance and operations with the Maintenance Manager.
• Coordinate planned downtimes to reduce mean time between failures and minimize production interference.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leads, Engineering, Supervisors and outside vendors regarding projects and repair problems.
• CMMS shared ownership with Maintenance Manager.
• Assign and direct technicians to install, repair, and maintain equipment with the Team Lead.
• Setup and coordinate vendor and contractor work for facilities and production needs.
• Help maintain an optimal stock of spare parts and materials.
• Coordinate large machinery moves and installations.
• Use basic hand/power tools, machine tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
