CarterPierce is seeking a Senior Associate to join its U.S. Strategic Investments team in New Jersey. You will work directly with senior leadership across the full deal lifecycle, from sourcing to integration, and play a key role in driving inorganic growth.

This high-visibility role offers early responsibility and a clear path to Director, with opportunities to lead transactions and shape strategic initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory.
• Strong preference for financial due diligence experience.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to distill complex concepts into clear insights.
• High EQ with the ability to engage effectively across executives, operators, and business owners.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic growth priorities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of targets; support outreach and relationship development across industry participants.
• Lead financial analysis, modeling, and diligence efforts (including quality of earnings and deal structuring considerations).
• Execute transactions end-to-end, including coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Support post-acquisition integration and broader strategic initiatives.
