Selby Jennings partners with a growing organization in Northern Virginia to add a Corporate Development Senior Manager responsible for evaluating and executing strategic growth initiatives, including M&A, acquisitions, investments, and other opportunities.

This high-visibility role offers close interaction with senior leadership, opportunity to influence long-term growth, and leadership of the full M&A lifecycle from target screening to integration planning.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in corporate development, investment banking, or related field.
• Experience executing M&A deals.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior executives.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and strategic mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the full M&A lifecycle from opportunity evaluation through due diligence and integration planning.
• Identify and evaluate potential targets and other strategic growth opportunities.
• Develop financial models and valuation analyses and prepare transaction materials.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across finance, legal, and operations.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, investment banks, consultants, and other partners.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify growth areas.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in corporate development.
