Job summary

CarterPierce, INC. seeks a VP of Strategic Finance to partner with the CFO in building and scaling the finance organization across its three businesses in Charlotte.

This hands-on role offers exposure to the CEO, Board, and private equity sponsor, with responsibilities spanning financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analytics. Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Strong modeling, analytics, and Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Experience building dashboards and management reporting.
• Experience in a PE-backed or acquisitive environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to scale the finance organization across the company’s three businesses.
• Own monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, dashboards, and management reporting.
• Develop KPIs to monitor financial and operational performance across the platform.
• Build financial models and analyses for strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
• Prepare Board and private equity sponsor materials, including executive-level presentations.
• Support exit preparation, including financial reporting and diligence materials.
• Support M&A and integration activities, including KPI reporting.
• Lead or support finance systems implementations to improve reporting and data quality.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and drive improvements in revenue, margins, EBITDA, and cash flow.
