Selby Jennings partners with a growing organization in the DC/Northern Virginia region to recruit a Corporate Development Senior Manager who will lead evaluating and executing strategic growth initiatives, including M&A, acquisitions, investments, and related opportunities.

This high-visibility role offers exposure to senior leadership and a chance to influence the company's long-term growth strategy through advanced financial modeling, due diligence, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in corporate development or related field.
• Strong M&A execution experience.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and workstreams.
• Excellent communication with senior executives.
• Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full M&A lifecycle from opportunity evaluation to integration planning.
• Identify and evaluate acquisition targets and other strategic growth opportunities.
• Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials.
• Coordinate due diligence across finance, legal, and operations.
• Present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with external advisors and banks.
• Monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in corporate development.
