Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to lead inorganic growth initiatives, manage due diligence, and shape strategic investments across healthcare segments. The role collaborates with senior leadership to prioritize targets and drive value through both internal and external opportunities.

The position may be performed remotely with regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters; local candidates are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in business development, M&A, strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Comfortable in a highly complex, matrix organization and ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors and companies/assets for inorganic growth.
• Lead project management and coordinate with regional heads and global teams through due diligence and business case development.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support prioritization of inorganic targets.
• Manage corporate portfolio analysis and evaluation of new business opportunities.
• Build valuations for targets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities through all phases from identification to execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces and stakeholders.
• Leverage market insights to inform strategy and future direction.
